Eamonn Byrne Landscape Architects (EBLA) is a consultancy providing services in landscape architecture, urban design and landscape planning; based in York we provide services throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth we seek new additions to our team.
Role:
EBLA is looking for talented Landscape Architects at all levels, who are passionate about delivering high quality results.
You will work on a range of current projects including; residential, urban regeneration, public realm, parks and leisure, infrastructure, through all stages from concept design to detailed design and construction.
Duties will include:
Deliver projects from conception to construction.
Preparing high quality conceptual landscape designs.
Preparing detailed landscape design drawings and specifications.
Producing excellent2D and 3D landscape graphics.
Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment.
Assisting and preparing tender submissions.
Criteria:
Post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture.
Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) is essential for the Senior Landscape Architect position. Minimum of 5 years consultancy experience for the Senior Landscape Architect position and 2 years for the Landscape Architect position.
Graduates would be working towards or wish to undertake the Pathway to Chartership.
Excellent and innovative design skills.
Excellent technical knowledge of landscape detailed design, including specification writing using NBS Landscape.
Strong drawing and graphic presentation skills, 2D and 3D. Skilled use of AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp or other 3D.
Experience of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) desirable but not essential.
Ambitious and driven with a strong desire to succeed.
Organised, efficient and able to meet deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
