MKO is currently seeking an enthusiastic Landscape Architect to join our growing Landscape team. Applications are invited from candidates of all levels of experience that satisfy the key requirements of the role.
The successful candidate will be working with our environmental scientists, ecologists, and planners to deliver cutting-edge design solutions and sustainable outcomes for our clients, as well as contributing to Environmental Impact Assessment. The appointed Landscape Architect will be involved in a range of exciting projects, such as linear infrastructure projects (Greenways & Blueways), renewable energy developments and a dynamic range of landscape design projects for housing, open spaces, hospitals, leisure, industrial and commercial developments. In this role, the Landscape Architect will also support MKO’s Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) specialists and in-house graphics team. There will be opportunity to manage and implement business development initiatives for the team and win new work by preparing and overseeing the preparation of fee proposals, identifying opportunities in the marketplace, and ensuring a steady workflow.

Currently, we are operating remote working for many of our office-based employees and this is expected to evolve into a blended working arrangement when restrictions enable this. What that blend might be will be dependent on discussions with the employee and we are open to that discussion.
MKO is a specialist environmental and planning consultancy, based in Galway City. The company employs over 100 people across its seven internal teams, which offer services in the fields of Ornithology, Ecology, Environmental, Planning, Estates & Project Management, Land Solutions and Research.
